I have to be careful not to upset anyone. I don't like being called a "hateful ass" that really hurts. It probably doesn't hurt as much as an old person falling and severly cracking old brittle bones, but it still hurts.
Today the topic is "Floaters" These are what I call the little ameba looking things that float around your eyes. You know those things that look like DNA or something? What are they? Does anyone else have these things?
You can normally see them if you squint your eyes near sunlight. They look like they have cells and clear connective tissue, but it's not sperm or anything. (Opps, maybe I shouldn't have said the Sperm word... Oh well, too late)
I tried to find a picture on the web so you know what I'm talking about. I could not find anything relating to what I mean. This webstie explains some kind of weird eye condition.
I'm not talking about these things. The things I see are squiggly and you can focus on the individual cells.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?
Since I work for an Ophthalmologist I do know what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteI have floaters everyday. Especially in my right eye. No real reason to worry about them unless you have flashes of light with them, or more than 10. Flashes of light with floaters can be a sign of a detached retina. If I eat a lot of protein I get more floaters too.
Don't worry until you have fireworks going off in your eye(s).
Uhhh, no.
ReplyDeleteI'll get the squiggly floaters sometimes, but I don't know what you mean by "individual cells."
Do you smoke weed?
ReplyDeleteNope. Floaters are what my kids leave when they don't flush.
ReplyDeleteThe more I read about you the more I think you are "special"
